Vespa manufacturer Piaggio is readying a three-wheel scooter that gets an astounding 170 to the gallon thanks to a hybrid system.

The scooter allows riders to switch to all-electric for those spots in town where running an engine is rude, yet it can also go long distance. Additionally, there are three hybrid modes designed to optimize either performance, consumption or battery charge.

Great little runaround for the town....and the bikes not bad either !! lol
